Indiana State Head Coach Greg Lansing has snagged some very talented players from the Hoosier State over the past few seasons. Their aggressive recruiting again paid dividends on Sunday night when class of 2014 wing Bryant McIntosh picked the school.
A Greensburg (Ind.) High School star, McIntosh is one of the better prospects in the Hoosier State’s 2014 class. At 6-foot-4 he can score off the dribble, get to the rim, and also is a very good shooter from deep. Add in that he is an above average athlete, and schools were monitoring McIntosh very closely this year.
However Indiana State was always the school at the front of the list, and in the end according to his father, McIntosh picked the school.
“It is true he picked Indiana State,” said Scott McIntosh. “Bryant was very comfortable with the coaches and the entire situation there.”
Aside from Indiana State schools such as Ball State, Xavier, Missouri, and New Mexico were all showing varying degrees of interest in the guard.
This is the first pledge for the Sycamores in the class of 2014, and McIntosh will likely be one of the most talented players to enter the Missouri Valley Conference.
