Wade Markley Finally Making His Mark

Wade Markley has waited his turn to play quarterback at Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger. In a winning system that characterizes Ft. Wayne Dwenger, many players have to wait their turn in the senior rotation. Markley was patient and when he stepped in for his senior season, he came out slinging. Markley threw for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first appearance as a starter.

In week two, he threw a 60 yard touchdown, but was taken out in the second quarter. Ft. Wayne Dwenger had managed 5 defensive touchdowns off of 5 interceptions, led the game at the half 46 to 0, and Markley was basically done for the night courtesy of the defense.
